We Transform Lives Through Education
Our network of 8 primary schools and 38 secondary schools support young people to succeed from the moment they start school, right through to graduation from secondary.
Designed and delivered by Africans, our award-winning programmes are proven to support students from poorer households learn faster and gain confidence and skills to thrive after school.
But we don’t stop there. We partner with governments to bring 16+ years expertise running great schools to improve schools across nations.
WHAT WE DO
WHY WE DO IT
By 2035, more sub-Saharan Africans will reach working age than in the rest of the world combined. Yet only one in three currently complete secondary school, and even fewer are girls.
Education opens doors to better life chances, higher incomes, and greater community influence. Educated girls are less likely to marry early or face violence and more likely to raise healthy, educated children.
The coming decade will be a pivotal moment for Africa’s growing youth population. With inclusive, high-quality education, they can become the driving force behind social, political, and economic growth, unlocking opportunities for generations to come.

Learn more about where we work

Peace had always dreamed of being a medical professional but, like many young girls in Uganda, she had dropped out of secondary school because her parents could not afford the tuition fees. Then she found out about PEAS, enrolled in school and has since become a nurse.
